How we use your data
Information on how we process your data on our online learning platform
When you register to undertake one of our online courses, we will collect your name, email address and, if you choose to provide it, your organisation and the city or town you are completing the course from. We will retain a record of which courses you have completed and the grades you have achieved, which you can view as part of your account. We will send you a follow up email when you have completed a course to allow you to feedback on your experience. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time.
We will collect pseudonymised, aggregate data of how candidates are interacting with the courses, so we can evaluate and report on how the platform is being used. This reporting will not identify you or affect your course assessments. The Turing processes your personal data as necessary for its legitimate interest in conducting research and furthering the work of the Turing and monitor engagement with, and enhance, the accountability of our sites.
As part of the Turing’s role in the Innovate UK BridgeAI partnership, if you indicated that you have come to the online learning platform via BridgeAI, data related to your participation in online courses will be shared with the partners in accordance with the project's privacy notice at https://iuk.ktn-uk.org/programme/bridgeai/ . This does not include any optional equalities and diversity data that you may share, which is for the Turing alone.
